1.Nuclear density is always constant, so d = constant, m/V = constant,

so,  m = V x constant

Hence m is directly proportional to V.

2. n0 decays into an electron that is present inside the nucleus. That electron is called negative beta particle. Positive beta particle is called positron which has the exact opposite charge of electron.

here y = disintegration constant

according to question, t = y

so N = N0 e-1

N = N0/e

now no of particles decayed, N’ = N0 – N0/e

= N0 (1 – 1/e)

hence fraction disintegrated = 1 – 1/e

4. He+ has z=2,also the first excited state means n=2. so energy E= -13.6 z2/n2 eV

putting those values for helium we get , E= -13.6 eV
