1. weber (Wb) is the SI unit of magnetic flux. Its CGS unit is maxwell (Mx).
1 weber = 1 tesla. 1 metre2
2. When a magnetic needle is kept in a non-uniform magnetic field, a force is applied by the magnetic field which also creates a torque on the needle.
3. As the electric and magnetic fields are parallel to each other, there will be no magnetic force certainly as there exists only magnetic force on a particle when it’s moving perpendicularly to the magnetic field. So, here only the electric field will have the only influence on the particle which will make it move in a straight line.
4. 1 tesla = 104 gauss
Hence, 1 gauss = 10-4 tesla.
5. Magnetic force is always perpendicular to the charged particle or we can say, perpendicular to the velocity of the charged particle.
We know, power = Force.Velocity
P = F.V (Bold letters represent vector quantities)
So, the dot product of force and velocity will be zero as they are mutually perpendicular.
