1. Ionizing radiation means the kind of radiation which has enough high energy to eject electrons from atom or molecules. X-rays, Ultraviolet rays and Gamma rays fall in that category as they have high energy due to their lower wavelength and higher frequency, whereas microwaves don’t have that enough energy to eject electrons from an atom or molecule due to its high wavelength.
